I love to explore whatever corner of the world I am inhabiting with my camera on my side.

What is your favorite spot to travel to in your home country?

Within the United States there is so much I have yet to see, Moab, Utah is filled with red rocks unlike anything I've experienced and the Big Island of Hawaii was pure magic.

What is your favorite international destination?

Dominican Republic will always be my favorite location, every time I go, I discover somewhere new about the land and myself.

What is the favorite aspect of your job at Offbeat Travel?

The opportunity to better people's lives: whether that be through leadership training, getting out of your comfort zone, taking time in nature, or building latrines and homes.

What sets Offbeat Travel apart from other places you have worked?

The endless support from such a unified team makes Offbeat Travel unlike any other. We constantly are uplifting one another to help get the task done. It is a joy to work with such an exceptional team.

What do you like the most about working with students and teachers?

Working directly with students is a transformative experience, getting to connect and mold a young persons mind while watching them push themselves to the edge of their comfort.

Why is travel important to every education?

Travel allows us to experience different cultures and see different ways of life, but ultimately brings us together because humans are the same in every corner of the world.

What does decolonizing travel mean to you?

Partnering with local communities in making travel accessible, safe, and beneficial for all. Leaving a positive footprint everywhere we go.
