The work environment, the flexibility, having a clear objective and a reason for each task to be carried out.

What sets Offbeat Travel apart from other places you have worked?

That it allows me to put a little of who I am and what I think in each task. It gives us freedom to create. Apart from flexibility, the good relationships with our colleagues and the horizontality.

Que me permite poner un poco de lo que soy y pienso en cada tarea. Nos da libertad de creatividad. Aparte de la flexibilidad, la buena relación con los compañeros, la horizontalidad.

What do you like the most about working with students and teachers? ¿Qué es lo que más te gusta de trabajar con estudiantes y profesores?

That we can be a channel to generate new and significant experiences in young people. Young people who come with new ways of seeing the world and enormous potential to transform it.

Que podemos ser un canal para generar nuevas y significativas experiencias en personas jóvenes que ya de paso vienen con nuevos paradigmas y un potencial enorme para ''comerse el mundo''.

It is important because of the opportunity it presents us to expand our knowledge and ways of thinking. An opportunity to learn more about yourself.

What is your favorite aspect of your culture to expose travelers to?

Costa Rica is an open and warm culture, where visitors can feel welcome, talk to each other and immerse themselves in the daily life of each region.

Que es una cultura abierta y cálida, en donde las personas visitantes pueden sentirse bienvenidas, conversar y adentrarse en las cotidianidades de cada región.

What does decolonizing travel mean to you? ¿Cuál es su definición para "Decolonizing Travel''?Decolonizing travel means to be conscious of the importance of each part involved in tourism. Because, without any of these parts the results would not be the same. Regardless of the role they play, the relevance remains the same, they contribute to the same goal. Here is where the term ''decolonizing travel'' applies to me, because from the moment of planning to the use or distribution of the resources, we should take into consideration the needs and interest of all parties involved in the touristic activity.

Para mi significa tomar conciencia de la importancia que tiene cada parte involucrada en el turismo, ya que sin alguna de esas partes, el resultado no sería el mismo. Sin importar el rol que cumplan, la relevancia sigue siendo la misma, aportan al mismo fin. Es acá donde para mi aplica el término de ''decolonizing travel'' porque desde la planificación hasta la utilización y distribución de los recursos, debería tomar en cuenta las necesidades e intereses de todas las partes involucradas.
