This Just In ...How many people do you think can simultaneously skinny-dip across North America?Guinness World Records™ organization has agreed to create a new category for the largest number of people simultaneously skinny-dipping, and AANR is the contact association for this record event.
Organization celebrates the tradition of skinny-dipping in support of July’s
National Take A Nakation Month
Skinny-dipping celebrates the natural joy of plunging into water without hindrance of clothing. AANR plans to coordinate skinny-dipping events at participating clubs and legally-sanctioned nude beaches throughout North America on Saturday 11 July 2009 at 3:00 pm Eastern Nudist Time, as an exciting finale to Nude Recreation Week (July 5-11, 2009). In conformance with stated rules, all participants to be counted must be completely nude during the skinny-dip. First-time skinny-dippers will be welcome and shyness can be accommodated. As with all Guinness World Records® events, all record attempts be “witnessed” by a designated “member in standing” of the local community. To locate event sites and learn how to participate in this exciting event at the location nearest you, visit: AANR - Skinny Dip
We want the world to know the joys of fun and wholesome skinny-dipping as an American tradition proudly supported by AANR while being recognized by Guinness World Records™. You don’t have to be an AANR member to participate. Those who might be a bit shy about shedding their swimsuit can get in the act by jumping in and pulling their swimsuit off underwater, hold it overhead and be included in the count. The American Association for Nude Recreation is the credible voice of reason on issues relevant to nude recreation and Nakationing in appropriate settings, serving more than 213,000 individuals who enjoy clothes-free and clothing-optional recreation throughout North America. For further information on nude recreation and the association’s affiliated clubs, contact AANR at 1-800-TRY-NUDE or visit the association’s Web site at AANR |
