Get ready to fly with Ozone Zipline Adventures

Ozone Zipline Adventures is now open for ziplining in the Little Miami River valley in Ohio.
Riders will suit up and fly on 5-10 connected ziplines through the canopy of the Little Miami River valley. The tour includes landings and launches from up to eight zipline platforms connected to trees or telephone poles, traverses over seven sky bridges and zipping off of a 45 foot tall multi-level central zip tower.

"Line five takes you over a 200 foot deep gully at about 30 mph and you can’t see the ending platform because this zipline is 680 feet long. Halfway across the line - the ground comes up to within 15 feet of you, only to drop off again before you see the ending platform. It’s breathtaking!" said Jeff Merhige, YMCA Camp Kern Executive Director.

The current zipline course loops riders back around to the base of the 45 foot tall zipline tower. Phase 2, which will open in a few weeks, will give riders more options than originally planned to complete their zipline experience.

OZONE Zipline Adventures will feature an educational component to this eco-adventure. Tour guides will broaden visitors experience by sharing information on the history of the land and its native peoples as well as information about ecology, fossils, and basic physics.

Fun Facts about the zipline tour:

  • Upon completion of phase 2, the tour will cover nearly two miles of land with ziplines spanning approximately 10,000 feet in total length and include eight sky bridges
  • The tour includes a 45 foot tall, central zipline tower with multiple platforms and observations decks
  • Riders will zip at heights of up to 200 feet above the ground
  • Tours last between two to three hours
  • Tour guides will educate riders on the history of the land, ecology and basic physics
  • For more information or to reserve your zipline tour, visit OzoneZips.org

Proceeds of the zipline tour will help to subsidize many of the camp’s school programs whose outdoor education experience has been jeopardized by budget constraints. With the zipline tour, Camp Kern will be able to keep the outdoor education experience affordable to area schools and provide greater assistance to the schools for the residential camp experience.

Zipline getaway vacation packages are available online at www.ohioslargestplayground.com. Each package includes a trip on Ozone Zipline Adventures and canoe trip down the Little Miami River for each person in your party, accommodations in a Warren County hotel and free coupons and discounts to area restaurants and shopping.
