In 2012, the Marcus Amphitheater will rock with performances from Rascal Flatts with special guests Little Big Town, Eli Young Band and Eden’s Edge, Train and Kelly Clarkson with special guest Brett Dennen, Lady Antebellum with Darius Rucker and special guest Thompson Square, The Beach Boys 50th Anniversary Tour, Ti?sto with special guests Steve Aoki, Zedd, R3hab, Tommy Trash and Pierce Fulton, Iron Maiden with special guest Alice Cooper, Zac Brown Band with special guest Blackberry Smoke and Sonia Leigh, Big Time Rush with special guests Cody Simpson and Rachel Crow, Aerosmith with special guest Cheap Trick and Neil Diamond. Additionally, on July 4, Milwaukee World Festival, Inc. will host its 4th Annual Summerfest Salute, to honor members of the U.S. Military and their families with a celebration including traditional and contemporary military band performances. All patrons are invited to join in on the musical salute; there will also be military displays and demonstrations on the grounds, in the water and even in the air. Set your eyes on the sky for Summerfest's Big Bang Fireworks Show presented by Menards and WISN-TV, broadcast live in high definition on WISN-TV on Wednesday, June 27 at 9:30 pm. Take a ride on the Summerfest SkyGlider, a true family favorite! Located high above the main walkway, this gentle ride provides its passengers with a scenic view of the Summerfest grounds, Lake Michigan and the entertainment below.
